tend

A note from the maker

I bet your friends miss you!

I started Tend because, as I got older, I noticed the same quiet pattern with the people I cared about most. Mismatched weekly routines. Recharge nights that turned into recharge weeks. Forgetting to text back, and then it being too long to text back at all.

Days became weeks. Weeks became months. And by the time you looked up, the friend you used to see every weekend was married with a baby on the way — and you’d missed both.

Most friendships don’t end. They thin — quietly, from both sides.

The part nobody says out loud is that the silence cuts both ways. Your friends miss you, too. They’ve been waiting on the text just as long as you have.

Same friend. Same you. The only difference is whether something quietly kept watch.

Tend is the nudge to be the one who reaches first.
